Album description by Noah Wilson of Mr. and Mrs. Muffins:
"One night I had a dream that Mrs. Muffins and I were dancing with a backdrop of clouds and music. The next day, I stole the music from that dream and wrote "Dream Dancing."
Using "Dream Dancing" as a launching point for a new project, the initial concept for this new record was to create a “dance” album. However, as the weight of the world became impossible to ignore, I realized that I couldn’t just write a bunch of songs about having “fun in the sun.” The words “Dream” and “Dancing” are nearly antonyms, so I began thinking about this album in terms of contrasts. I relayed the information to Mrs. Muffins and devised a plan to make the album artwork have contrasting warm and cool colors. Side A would be the “Dancing” side, and Side B would be the “Dreaming” side.
The result is this album, and we truly hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it. Being able to work on a project like this during a global pandemic, the death of my father, and recovering from a broken arm, brought me peace. I hope it does the same for you."

Taking inspiration from the likes of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper, Brian Wilson’s Pet Sounds, Queen’s A Night At The Opera, and the Kinks’ Village Green Preservation Society, Poland continues in the tradition of creating well-crafted pop songs with a strong emphasis on song-writing, involved arrangements and subtle orchestration.

Mr. and Mrs. Muffins, The Misty Cowboy and Other Songs to Dream By, 2013
Mr. and Mrs. Muffins follow up their debut album with a lavish gatefold LP, 24-page fully-illustrated booklet, and more magical music.
Laguna, Letters (single), 2013
Laguna’s new single “Letters” is a glimpse into where our new music is heading. “Letters” continues their majestic synth layers, Lydia Nor’s soulful voice and lyrics, a really cool melodic bass line, artful drum beat placement and features the alto sax playing of Brian Hartman. I wrote the music, programmed the synthesizers and performed drums on this track.

A compilation of our music released on Series Two Records between 2008 and 2009.

Mr. & Mrs. Muffins, The Raindrop Dance & Other Songs About Love, 2011
Mr. & Mrs. Muffins, Noah and Nanda Wilson's beautiful music. I play some drums on this album, The Raindrop & Other Songs About Love, released on July 5th, 2011. The Raindrop Dance and Other Songs About Love is presented in "Wall-To-Wall" stereo, enveloping the listener in the moods and textures from the first two Mr. and Mrs. Muffins books. This is an all-music album, highlighting the songs from The Striped Ladybird and The Adventures of Ms. Rabbit and Mr. Carrot. The music is mastered at a slightly higher volume for a dreamier listening experience.

Poland, Most of them are Clockwork, 2008
Poland CD, Most of them are Clockwork, click to store.
Third Poland Release. || Dagger Zine ||"Series Two Records only pressed 300 copies of Most Of Them Are Clockwork. Here’s a suggestion: Track one down. For the second straight release, Poland has provided a highly listenable collection of coolest-kid-in-the-class (you know, the one who quietly sits in the back, waiting for school to end so he/she can get to band practice) songs. As with the brilliant Schoolboy Crush on Che Guevara, the Seattle outfit recalls the best of West Coast jazz, circa 1965, along with Burt Bacharach with a touch of British pop. A more modern point of reference might come from Ladybug Transistor (hey, what are these guys, as well as the Essex Green, doing these days?), circa Albemarle Sound (see King Mary, Clockwork’s gorgeous fifth track). Highlights from Clockwork include Finally September, a brilliant strings-filled backbeat-driven romp that sounds very Left Bankish, and Starling Street, with a haunting beginning that should hit an NPR newscast, as between-story filler, any day now. If there’s any quibble, it’s that singer Mark Romanowski’s voice might come off as a little too detached. If could have something to do with the mix: Vocals aren’t as up front as they probably should be. Still, he’s a nice singer who ultimately compliments the array of strings, xylophones, marimbas, and on and on. Here’s hoping he, and Poland, continue making beautiful music. www.myspace.com/seriestworecords ANDY GIEGERICH”
